When you download the App and create an account ("Account"), we may collect certain information ("Registration Information") about you, such as:

You can review and modify this information at any time by logging into Flirt. It's your duty to keep your account details updated. If your phone number changes, please update it in your account. This information enhances the App and verifies our Users (no robots allowed!). Some Registration Information, like sexual preference, name, and age, may be visible to other Users on your profile page.

For Users residing in California, the data we gather falls within the categories of "personal information" as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

  1. Identifiers, such as name and location;
  2. Personal information, as defined in the California customer records law, such as contact (including email and telephone number) and financial information;
  3. Characteristics of protected classifications under California or federal law (if you choose to provide them), such as age, gender identity, marital status, sexual orientation, race, ancestry, national origin, religion, and medical conditions;

Profile Information

We advise our members to be cautious about the details they disclose. Avoid sharing sensitive information like email addresses, URLs, phone numbers, full names, credit card details, or other personal data on your profile. The extent of personal information you share through posts or messages is at your own discretion.

Profile Verification Information (Including Biometric Information)

For a secure experience, users must verify their accounts. We might ask for your phone number or request photo verification to ensure you are genuine. This is essential for fraud prevention. If you opt for profile photo verification, we will scan the submitted photos using facial recognition technology for comparison. The verification photos aren't added to your profile. We store these scans for future verification and record-keeping, deleting them securely after their purpose is served.

Purchases Information

We may add premium services for purchase in the future. If you opt for our premium services, we'll process and securely store your payment details for fraud prevention and audit purposes.

Device and Photos Information

We may collect data about your device, such as its unique identifier, model, and operating system. With your permission, the App may access your device’s address book to add contacts. We also may gather data on your photos, like which photos receive more attention.

Messages

We may review message content in the App to detect trends among our Users, along with inappropriate behavior to moderate. We aim to remove personally identifying information from messages before analyzing them.

We may review rating content in the App to detect trends among our Users, along with inappropriate behavior to moderate.

2. How Information is Used

Our main goal is to ensure your experience on Flirt is enjoyable and meaningful. To provide you with this experience, we may use your Registration and other information to:

  • Offer you our services and features;
  • Contact you about App updates and new features;
  • Personalize the App and content we deliver to you;
  • Conduct research and analytics on how you use and interact with the App;
  • Test technologies and processes to improve the App;
  • Resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, and enforce our Terms & Conditions; Investigate fraud, protect our legal rights, and ensure the safety of our Users;
  • Send you information on promotions, offers, and events- if you’ve signed up for our communications or given your consent. (You can opt out of marketing at any time via Settings in the App or through provided opt-out links in each message);
  • Protect our Users and third parties.
Our Matching Algorithms

Flirt has developed algorithms to predict your compatibility with other users and get you on the best dates. We may display profiles we believe align with your interests. Our algorithms may use data like your profile information, activity in the app, and location to provide meaningful dates. Your data is subject to be used in the creation or training of AI and machine learning algorithms. If you include sensitive information in your profile, this processing is based on your explicit consent.

Moderation Practices

We use both automated systems and a team of moderators to review accounts, profile content, messages, and photos for any breaches of our Terms of Service. If an account or message indicates potential breaches, we may restrict or block user access. Users can contact Flirt to contest such decisions.

Processing for Improved User Experience

Flirt processes personal data to understand user preferences better. We analyze location data to comprehend user demographics, like whether users belong to college or university. This helps us send tailored offers, events, and features, understand the preferences of the student demographic, and design the App to cater to their needs. We prioritize user privacy, ensuring data is used responsibly and deleted post-analysis.

4. What Users Can See

Flirt LLC believes in celebrating its Users and their unique personalities and dates. We've incorporated features to help you showcase your individuality and connect with others through in person dating. While using the Flirt App, always consider that whatever you post or share may be visible to both Users and non-users of the App. We encourage our Users to be cautious about sharing information that could become public knowledge.

Exercise caution when sharing sensitive details on your profile, such as religious beliefs or health specifics. If you choose to share such details, including your sexual preferences, you're giving us explicit consent to process this information and make it available to other Users.

Your Flirt profile, along with any information you share via the App, including details linked through third-party accounts, could be seen and shared by Users with others, both Users and non-Users. For instance, a User might share a screenshot of your profile with their friends, even if those friends aren't Flirt App users.

5. Age Requirements

Flirt is designed for adult interactions. To use the Flirt App, you must be at least 18 years old.

We do not intentionally gather information from or market to children, minors, or anyone below the age of 18. Should we discover that an individual under 18 has registered with us and provided personal information, we will take immediate action to cancel that individual's registration.

6. Security

At Flirt LLC, we prioritize the security of your data. We employ a range of security measures designed to protect your information from potential risks, including unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. Our infrastructure utilizes secured servers with firewalls and encryption to ensure your data's safety.

Furthermore, California law mandates online service providers to disclose their response to “do not track” signals or similar mechanisms that offer consumers a choice regarding the collection of their personal data over time across different online services. Currently, Flirt LLC does not monitor users' personal information over various third-party online platforms. This law also requires disclosure about third parties collecting users' data across different online platforms when using the provider's service. We are not aware of third parties gathering information about individual users' activities across different platforms when using our App.
